hi everyone,

Has anyone experienced what I'm experiencing right now, using my wi-fi cf card with my hp2215. There are some websites that I couldn't log on and it replies back with " you need to upgrade your browser to be able to use this website". and sometimes Im getting a " your browser doesn't support DHTML". Has anyone got that kind of message. Any support would greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!!!

I have not experienced this but I suspect it has to do with Pocket Internet Explorer not being IE 5.5 or above. There are some sites that check for the version of IE. pIE will fail that check. I have been informed that there is a registry key that supplies this information, at least at the most basic level. Use a registry editor for the PPC and you can change this key to something else. Sorry I don't have all the specifics but I am sure there are others that can fill you in on the details.

This registry hack won't solve all your issues but it will give you some additional access to some of the web sites that are refusing to let you in.

Good luck

TC
