The easiest way is to have all settings automatic on your device. If it works when connected via wired ethernet then it should just work when connected via WiFi.

If not, you should check that your device is actually connected to the AP. Make sure the AP is not filtering MAC addresses, and make sure there's no interference from other AP in the area - perhaps change channel settings on your router to see if you can connect.

Hi
I have similar problem any help would be appreciated
Have a sonic wall(firewall)/modem /and a Dlink-N router.
Have x2 computers connected via LAN and a laptop which can connect to internet when connected to LAN but have problems connecting to internet intermittently, however is connected to the network as can access other folders on other computers.
google chrome error Error 105 (net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED): The server could not be found.
I have to repair or reset IP addresses all the time to connect to internet
I think I have to set something up in the router(maybe something simple ) ...appreciatye any help please

Oh! and also have problem connecting my N95 to my WLAN- used to be able to do so before- says unable to connect-invalid PSK (tried checking and rewriting both in paraphrase and in hexadecimal form) same problem. Again i think there is something very simple- just have to go through steps. Should be a good learning for me as i'm just a newb.
