is there driver for this modem/router online for free becouse my mum have lent her one for me to use

Hi, no drivers are required its a ADSL router with ethernet and WiFi interfaces, you dont need drivers. You may however need to change the PPPoA login details (ie user/password). The IP address to access that is 192.168.1.254

Hi Chris, you will need to be a little more detailed than that for me to help. So what does not connect the modem to the DSLAM (Exchange) or you PC to the modem.

Hi, so does the modem report that it is synced up and connected, but not authenticated. i presume you have put your slingshot username and password in the PPPoA setup area. As far as I am aware these Thompsons are not locked to Telecom/Xtra, but I have a spare here and will check.

Hi, so if you click on this link what does it say, does the first line show its connected or disconnected, if not then before it will authenticate it must connect. Assuming it has connected have you entered the correct username and password in the format username@slingshot.co.nz
