Hi,

I have a Audiovox PPC6600 and Jabra BT800 bluetooth headset.

I have tried both Fonix Voice Central and MS Voice Command 1.5 on the device.

In both cases, you need to speak to the PPC6600 fo any commands vs using the Jabra BT800 headset.

I suspect others have found the same issue.

In the case of the Fonix Voice Central, it makes it almost useless since you need to be close to the device for the commands to to heard.

The MS Voice Command is not quite as bad.

It makes it very frustrating since I am trying to decide which software is better for me and neither do a good job of recognizing my voice (especially in the car).

Where do I need to look for the resolution, the software vendors (MS for Fonix), Jabra or Audiovox?

Has anyone resolved this problem?

Your help would be appreciated.

Sincerely,

Dave

This is how the Bluetooth stack used works. The developers can't change anything - it's more like to be something to follow up with Audiovox, but ultimately they only sell the device, which is manufactured by HTC (this is the HTC Harrier model, also available in New Zealand from Telecom).
