I have read through many posts and guides trying to connect my Tungsten T3 to the internet using a bluetooth dongle. When I goo to enable sharing of the network under properties in the Local Area Connection box, there is no "sharing" tab. I think this is why I can't getnthrough this. Anyone have any ideas what may be causing this?

My setup is as follows:

2 computer networked together via a wired Linksys router to a Surfboard cable modem. I am trying to use a Linksys bluetooth dongle to access the network through one of the connected computers.

Amy advise would be greatly appreciated!

It could be missing because of a problem on this specific Windows installation. Also, it sometimes does not show if you are using Windows XP Home Edition and a specific option is off. Open File Explorer (Windows Key-E) and then select Tools | Folder Options.

Change to View tab, and the last option is Use Simple File Sharing. Uncheck that, reboot and see if it makes a difference.

Thanks... I do use Windows XP Home Edition, but I checked for the option you suggested, and I do not have "Use Simple File Sharing" as an option under the view tab in Folder Options. Any idea what may be causing this?

Thanks!
