What sort of encryption do you have on? WEP? WAP? Mac filtering?

Enable your choice of encryption (WEP / WAP etc) - that'll stop them from connecting.

Enable a Mac filter - Either white list or black list. White list, you get the MAC addresses of all the machines you want to connect, and it only allows them. This means any new PCs or machines you want to connect will need to have their MAC addresses added to the list.

Black list, you get the MAC addresses of computers you don't want to connect (like the one you posted) and everyone else can connect. But if you have encryption on, they'll still need the key first too.

Disable SSID broadcasting.

Once all of that is done, just to be ultra paranoid, change the admin password again.

Its probably just a neighbour taking advantage.

If you want more help, post the make / model of wireless router you are using.

I can't help with the Eset smart security messages - maybe someone else can help you there.
