I have finally managed to setup port forwarding for my games but im having problems with assigning a static IP. I have a Linksys WRT54GC.

DHCP server is enabled and I have assigned a static IP based on the MAC address of my pc, but my LAN IP still keeps changing.

Have you configured your PC to use the static IP address?

I havent but it worked today. The problem was that I kept resetting the router from 192.168.1.1 web page.
Should have just turned the power on/off lol

If you are using your mac address to reserve an IP in your modem, then you should still be able to set your pc to automatic as the modem will always issue the same reserved ip.
