Hi,

I posted several months ago about a service offered by my computer 'p' that was the only one available to my PPC to use... This is frustrating when you want to ActiveSync over BT.

I was wondering if Microsoft ever addressed this issue, or if there are any fixes.

This service is generated with this current setup:

iPaq 3975
Microsoft Bluetooth 2.0 Transceiver
Windows XP2 Bluetooth Stack

Any updates or should I give in and try the Widcomm stack? (crashed my computer last time)

No changes, AFAIK. It still happens with some machines - I don't use the Windows XP SP2 Bluetooth because of this. But in my case I use the original Widcomm drivers supplied with my USB adapter and they work fine unde Windows XP SP2. I don't recommend using any patched drivers.
