Hi, hope someone can help me (i feel a newbie.. and.. dumb)

i have sony hbh-600 bluetooth headset and wanted to make it work with yahoo messenger, i reinstalled the software of my bluetooth dongle (bluesoleil), and now the headset 's working fine and everything was working normally for like 3 days, i don't remember i made any other change and since yesterday i simply have no sound through the speakers, no sound from the USB microphone is recognized and i don't find how to fix it, it doesn't mark any hardware conflict and all the volume controls have the volume up, if i turn on the bluetooth headset, that works fine, but i want to use my USB mic and speakers for other things.

Could someone help me with this??? if it helps for something, i CAN listen windows sounds. i tried disactivating the option of "only use predetermined devices" and moving those audio options, but still no sound.

thank you very much.

Welcome to Geekzone... Are you using Windows XP? If yes, you could try the System Restore option and return your system to the state it was a few days ago to see if it works.

Click Start | Programs | Accessories | System Tools | System Restore.
