I have a Sony S4xP Laptop with SP2 on it and like most people I can't get my Jabra 250v to work with the Bluetooth stack.
I have tried to read all the posts concerning this, but am getting very confused...can anyone give me a relatively simple way to get my headset working on my laptop??

I am getting the vibe that I might have to use a dongle, it seems the Bluesoil one is good, but again, it seems Vaios need special attention...any idea if this is the right one?

If you are using the Windows XP SP2 Bluetooth software then your Bluetooth headset won't work. There's no support for Headset profile on this software.

Both Widcomm and BlueSoleil support Headset profile, but they are only available with a Bluetooth device, not as separate download.
