Ok here is my problem... I want to be able to send files from my IPaq hx2750 with Windows Mobile 2003 to a computer at my school. I have a D-Link DBT-120 Bluetooth adapter. I can install and get the adapter to work, I can even send files from the computer to the PDA but I cant send from my pda to the computer. I dont have access to the "Open Bluetooth Settings" Option so I cant change services. Is there anyway around this so that I can send files from my pda to the computer with out haveing to hack the computer? Also I cant change the security polocies. So please tell me how to get around this... for the time being all I want to do is send files back and forth. Also I have access to all the other options when you write click on the bluetooth icon in the systray. Thanks for your help.

If the iPAQ is Windows Mobile 2003 then it will be running the Widcomm stack - and they have a built-in FTP server for Bluetooth.

On your PC open Bluetooth Places (if you're using the DLINK software), find your iPAQ and double click the icon. You will see the Object Exchange. Double-click and it will actually show the contents of the shared folder on your iPAQ. You can change this folder on your Pocket PC configuration.

You can then copy from your computer to the iPAQ and back - you don't have to push from your iPAQ, but you can pull out of it - and place wherever you want (within your own rights).

Also, check the iPAQ when you start doing this, because on the default configuration it will ask for authorisation.

No the thing is I cant I am using the windows defult drivers for the adapter, so there is no "My Bluetooth Places". I also cant use the drivers that came with the DBT-120 because it is the schools computers and I dont have rights to access the previous driver data. Is there any other way to send files from the PDA to the computer? and softwere that you dont have to install you can just run or anything that you can install and copy to say a Mem Key that you could just run off that, to manage your bluetooth connections and services?
