A comapny called Zultys announced a few weeks ago a new WiFi SIP phone - and in the press release stated "worldwide relese in November 2005".

Initially I dismissed the "worldwide" to actually mean "countries important to us" i.e. China, Japan and US, and so on sorta thing - in other words "not NZ anytime soon".

However, I have just today noticed that they have an office (or something) in Wellington - well, a PO Box and a phone number at least.

Has anyone heard of these guys locally in NZ, and could this mean the phone may actually get here before Christmas NEXT year?

Looks rather nice.. The only major feature it looks to be lacking is WPA, running any access point with WEP is just asking for trouble - since SIP session details are not encrypted andbody could have an extension on your PBX within a matter of minutes and cause plenty of chaos.

It does look nice, but... I have a DualPhone connected to my desktop. I can use Skype, SkypeOut and SkypeIn anywhere in the house.

If instead of simply SIP it could have Skype implemented... Then it would be great: no need for a PC to have Skype available.
