I've got a D-Link Wireless ADSL Modem which i use with my Vodafone broadband connection. Unfortunatly it sometimes disconnects and my only option is to restart it. This is a real pain and i cant find any easy solution to it. I was once remotly working on a PC from outside and the internet disconected, which meant i had drive down and restart it 2:00 in the morning!

In the US there is something called an iBoot AutoPing which keeps on pinging say google and when it doesnt get a reply it power cycles the modem. I'm wondering if there is something available locally or if there is any other solution.
