Hi dear all experts, I have a T610 and a usb eagletec bluetooth dongle.

The usb eagletec bluetooth driver was installed, and the sony ericsson phone software all installed as well. I have setup the phone and my laptop paired (key was also set). So, a pair connection was established.

My Bluetooth services has created a virtual COM port 7 and 8 for me. Inside the bluetooth neighborhood, it shows my T610 phone there, whenever i tried to click "discover available service" on my T610 it said "no bluetooth services was found on T610". Did anyone know why???? Because of such problem ,...i cannot even use the sony ericsson software (dial up networking or sync. with outlook) or even using my T610 modem to dial the internet.

When i was using a Infrared dongle, it works fine and can detect my T610 and installed T610 infrared modem for me. How comes it cannot detect my Blluetooth T610 bluetooth modem itself???

Please someone provide me with some help or walkthroughs....
thanks in advance.

i have installed every sony provided software inclduing the phone monitor..

If the mobile phone and PC are paired I can presume you've set the phone in discoverable mode before.

Have you set the Bluetooth on the phone to on after this? If you're using the Auto setting change it - this is only for reducing battery drain, but turning Bluetooth on only to transfer the calls to a headset.

Take the mobile phone to Sony Ericsson and check the firmware. I had T610 for review here and it was terrible. It didn't remember pairs, and connections didn't last long. But it was an old firmware version.

FINALLY, after reading thousands of topcs over different forums, I got the problem fixed and surely because of the bluetooth software problem!!!! This happens on some of the people only. The original bluetooth software included with the driver CD is 1.4.1.7, when we installed this driver, the Phone could be paired with the PC, the T610 could detect the PC however, the PC could not detect/found the T610.
The fixed to this is, simply uninstall bluetooth software 1.4.1.7. Download 1.4.1.6 unlocked bluetooth software from the web, and have it installed. ALL PROBLEMS GONE.

The T610 now could detect my PC and VICE VERSA, sycnh. with Outlook 2003 without any problem....etc.

Thank you.

george
