Welcome to Geekzone... When you say "i can access files and folders on my desktop from my laptop" I asume you are talking about the Bluetooth file transfer built-in, not network file sharing, is this correct?

You have to read and follow the instructions on this guide, although it may or may not work since you are using a USB network.

No not only file transfer i can browse the shared folder on my network that is i have a personal area network and i can access same as i do on lan network for example i have C drive and D: drive shared on my network on my desktop and now i can browse complete c drive and d drive on my laptop, USB bluetooth is on Desktop so that is what is happening but i also want the internet sharing from my desktop DSL Dial up connection to my Laptop.

Yesterday i was working latenight trying to configure modem i configured after connecting both the desktop and laptop on PAN (Personal Area Network) when i did diagnosis on my modem it gave detail and no errors but once the PAN is disconnected from either side it gives error.

One more thing as you are aware that my DSL connection is on desktop now tell me do i have to dial my DUN bluetooth modem from Desktop or from my laptop if from my laptop than i have a more problem that is i am unable to configure modem on my laptop the bluetooth software which is coming with acer is WIDCOMM 4. something please help me

I know it can be done but something i am not doing right something is missing.

Thanking you in advance for you help.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are using PAN then you have to bridge the connections (the ADSL and the Bluetooth adapter), on the computer connected to the Internet (your desktop). You might have to manually configure IP and DNS addresses on your laptop if you do't have a DHCP server (which I suspect you don't).
