I have heard that there is an issue sharing between vista and xp, Is there anyway around this at all. I am trying to access my computer via my dads it was working until i installed avg i have a feelin that this may be the issue but any help around this will be great

sorry guys im tryin to access an external hd that is attached to the xp computer thru the vista computer now it is all properly shared because i can access it thru my brothers laptop which has xp just not thru vista
