I have the above mentioned devices along with a compact flash Bluetooth card (I have the e740 with built-in WiFi)

I've been reading the bluetooth guides, but I'm STILL having a hard time. I want to use my mobile minutes rather than gprs because the plan I have doesn't give me much data. The mini-cd that came with my bluetooth card has bluetooth manager on it and it's installed. Unfortunatly, bluetooth is a hit-or-miss. Sometimes I have fax connected, other times it won't budge. I was able to dial out a connection. but couldn't go on the internet. Using connection settings is an exercise in futility. I don't know what port to use.

Ugh! I'm ready to throw my stuff out the window! (well, not really....considering the money invested he he he)

Please help!

Candygogo, would help if you could supply us with a screenshot of your Bluetooth Manager, so we could have an idea of what software is this... Use the Contact page so I can have your e-mail address and will arrange to upload an image here (or you can use your own server to host with a img tag here)

Ok, some good news:

I was FINALLY able to get DUN working on my e740 (sort of) with bluetooth. I had been experimentig with free isps and unfortunately, the access numbers aren't always the most reliable.
After finally coming across a good access number, I was able to connect. YIPEE!!! :) The bugaboo is that I can't seem to use it correctly with PIE. When the browser starts, any link I click on (or any address I type in) automatically brings up the Connections dialer. I haven't tried to retrieve email yet with Bluetooth.

I must use Bluetooth Manager to access the internet the bluetooth way. If I try to go through 'Connections' it just won't work. Under the choices of modem, my bluetooth card isn't an option. How can I get my PIE to work as the browser of choice?
