Hi All,

Since I got my iPAQ 3850 I've been trying to connect it to my computer using Bluetooth. I want it to connect to ActiveSync. Unfortunately the messega "Retrieving services for this device..." keeps running, it seems like it never end. Not with a message "no services found" nor with a message "can't retrieve services".

I'm running all the newest software (Computer: Bluetooth Software 1.3.2.7 from sitecom.com, PDA: Bluetooth Manager 1.1 from www.hp.com)

Does anyone have a (possible) solution?

Thanks in advance,
Qistoph

[edit]I just found out that Bluetooth Manager hangs after trying to recieve services from my computer. If I return to "today" and get back to BM I get this message:
FATAL APPLICATION ERROR
Application Bluetooth Manager.exe has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem presist, contact the program vendor.

Program: Bluetooth Manager.exe
Exception: 0x80000002

This happens because this version of Bluetooth Manager on your Pocket PC supports only up to seven services. On your computer you have to disable services you're not using, until you have seven or less. Soft reset the Pocket PC and try again.

Assuming you're using a widcomm based Bluetooth device, you can right-click the Bluetooth icon in the system tray, select Advanced Configuration (if using version 1.3 and up) and then switch to the Local Services tab.

Double-click the service you don't want to have acvtive, and clear the Startup checkbox.
