Hi guys,

I bought an AirLink 3G Wireless Router in the US recently which has a USB port to connect my 3G Telecom USB modem.

I've plugged in my USB stick and entered the settings below (#BLANK# is a blank field) but I can't get it to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers

You have used this USB modem before and can confirm the SIM/account is working fine?

Yeah - works perfect on my laptop (using it now) - but just can't get it to connect to the modem

Not all USB modems work on these routers. For example I have a Cradlepoint here, a TopGlobal and a Cisco SRP Pro (the one "driving" the Internet at home).

I have two Sierra Wireless USB modem - the 885 and the new HSPA+. The new HSPA+ works fine on the Cradlepoint, but the Cisco SRP Pro doesn't recognise it as a modem.

The 2degrees Huawei USB modem works fine in all routers as well.

Do you have the t-stick, not the Sierra Wireless I presume? I am not sure how "compatible" those t-sticks are...

OK. It's a newer T-Stick than the Sierra Wireless model - it's the ZTE model. I was hoping that it would just be a configuration issue, but it appears to be a bit more than than :(

I would say the ZTE stick is not compatible with the router.
