So moving into a new place and need to do some tricky network re arranging

Upstairs,    PC, file server, and modem (linksys am300)

downstairs,   Media player, wii, TV.

misc:  a couple of laptops and ios devices

so basically i want to get the media player and tv hooked up to the rest of my stuff upstairs, presently using a belkin n150 router for the lappys and iphones, but i need a bridge to connect the stuff downstairs,

cabling is not an option!

basically i want a 802.11N wireless bridge with 4 ports however i don't want to pay $300+

budget at the moment is $100ish,  so any recommendations of devices for this setup would be great

Cheers

Blair

I do this by running DD-WRT on my Router, Linksys WRT54GL ($160 New At DSE, Tho Prob Pick one up on tm for under $100).

Set this into Client Mode, And connect to your other AP, And you have a Wireless bridge between the two, Just make sure you make sure they both aren't on the same channel as each other.

Maybe this is more suitable then...

A little over your budget but should do the job pretty well.

@llamma just get a wireless N router then. but don't forget that bandwidth on second router would be divided by 2.

I've done same thing with asus wl-520gc and dlink 300/NRU, works awesome :)

I Stream HD mkv's over A band without buffering, another option to consider if you want.
