Ultimate Mobile sent me one of these BandLuxe R300 to test.

It has WAN and ethernet ports (one each) in the back as well. Not bad, quite small. Built in modem, so just need the SIM card, in this case a Telecom XT SIM card:

Results with my XT SIM card:

Out of interest where did you purchase it from, and are you using an external antenna?

I'm actually looking at purchasing the same product, however my reception is hit and miss i.e 3 bars on the window, but only one bar in the armchair. I thought this product would allow me to leave it in the vicinity of the window and connect via wireless.

Any other pro's or con's?

The answer is in the first sentence in my post.

duckquack: ... and are you using an external antenna?

Not at all.

Leave by the window and it should be fine then...
