I'm absolutely clueless when it comes to these things. I recently bought a Sony Ericsson z520a cell phone only to find out it has a problem with the software. The problem has been resolved and Cingular is sending me a new one with the better software. The only problem is all of the pictures I've taken of my 7 month old son will be lost unless I can get them off of my old phone. That's where my problem starts.
I bought a Belkin bluetooth adapter in order to transfer the files onto my computer with Windows XP. I finally went through the steps you guys have listed on this forum to get the correct driver installed. When I did, however, an icon popped up in the tray that says a network cable is unplugged on the bluetooth network. When I try to connect my phone nothing comes up in the way of devices. The bluetooth icon in the tray is white, so I assume it's working.
Please help...I appreciate any advice...Thanks.
