Hi!

I am using Logitech Mobile Express BT headset with HP nc6000 notebook for Skype.
The divice itself runs well, sound qualiti is also OK, but still one problem.

The headset is connected all the time, it doesnt understand, when there is incoming call and when call waiting mode.
And the resault is, that I have to charge the headset for every 4h for 8h :)

The headset itself is configured as BT audio gateway, but it was the only possible way to get it connected.

What I did wrong, can anybouy help me ;)

Thanks for advance,

The problem is that these devices are not designed to be connected all the time. They should be connected only when a call comes in or you want to call someone.

On a mobile phone it's easy, since the software knows to connect to the headset when a call is announced.

On the PC it's not that easy. The OS knows there are options for audio in/out, but it's already using the default sound card, so if a call is announced the sound is already being sent through the sound card. Most of the software will not transfer the sound to the headset after the call is initiated, simply because the OS doesn't seem to support this transfe.

So, either you don't use the headset for incoming calls or you have it connected all the time, which is not a good solution: battery will go down quickly and the ring will go through the headset meaning you can miss some calls if you don't have it on you all the time.
