hey guys someone at work said they have wireless M at home and couldnt get their laptop to work on it.

my question is , what is wireless M ? ive heard of B,G,N
but not M.

He would mean Wireless N - there's no such thing as M. If it's N then any B/G/N device will work with it.

Wireless N works on two different frequencies, 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. Not all Wireless N gear supports both frequencies. He will need to check that both his AP and his laptop are configured/capable of working on the same frequency.
