I have a USB bluetooth on my laptop. I have done everything: paired HP iPaq with my computer, reduced the number of services and things like that. I can do a normal file transfer, can start a push and pull service. I am even able to explore my iPaq using Microsoft Activesync but somehow I do not get option of synchronising the data in Active Sync.

When I use my bluetooth software to synchronize, it gives an error: "Service not supported".

Somebody pls. help

Welcome to Geekzone... You should only use ActiveSync to synchronise the data on your Pocket PC to a desktop/laptop computer.

The PIM Synchronisation on Bluetooth is not fully supported in all Pocket PCs.

You can use Bluetooth for wireless ActiveSync if you want. Read more in our Bluetooth Guides.

Thanks for that!!

I went through the bluetooth guide. The problem is that the com port that corresponds to the serial port in my bluetooth manager is COM13. I can use my bluetooth manager to connect to this port. But ActiveSync does not scan COM13 port. How do I solve this?

Help is really appreciated
