Hello people I'm new here, and I need some help with my Tungsten E2 and the connection with my nokia 6230.

I'm trying to use my GPRS conecction of my mobile phone to access the internet on the palm, but I can't get it to work

The palm displays an error message, it says: "Error:Incomplete setup. Please check your network settings"

In the connection log the plam says:

S:*99#GPRS1:Start GPRS1: OK
LCP->CfgReq
LCP<-CfgReq
LCP->CfgAck
LCP<-CfgRej
LCP->CfgReq
LCP<-CfgAck
LCP Up
LCP->TrmReq
LCP<-TrmAck

Not connected

Any help will be excelent, please I'd tried everything...

I'm getting crazy!!!

I've tried everything, and can't make it function...

I really need some help, I've being surfing the web hours and hours looking for answers and hothing I've found seem to be the solution to my trouble...

Somebody!!!! HELP!!!!!

It looks like your account does not have the appropriate settings (check with your operator) to access GPRS. Or the phone being used does not have a default GPRS connection (*99#). If there are GPRS connections configured on your phone then change the number on your Palm to be *99***1# (replacing 1 with 2,3,4 and so on to correspond to a connection on your phone).

After read some other advices you've gave for other user (and other models) about the phone number and before I initiate this topic i already try with that. I replace the *99# with other numbers and the response is invalid number. In my PC i use Nolia PC Suite and the number it uses is *99#, with no other additions, so I don't know what the problem is... A friend of mine has a PPC (HP) and a nokia 6230 and he can connect via Bluetooth to the internet using GPRS, so I ask him about what he done but the configuration is completely different.

Finally!!! I did it!!! Finally i found how to configure the palm with my phone, now i can surf the net with the palm using the GPRS connection.

If somebody has the same trouble  ask me for help, it wil be a pleasure to help...
