I have found a Zoom brand BT dial up modem. Will this work on an ipaq 1945? I want to web browse and email. Would it interfere with activesync in any way (when not connected to computer).

It should work fine. Just make sure the modem uses the Bluetooth DUN (dial up profile). If this is the case, then you can use the same configuration we have in our Bluetooth Guides on how to connect the Windows Mobile 2003 to a mobile phone (of course changing the phone numbers).

I was asked the same question a couple of weeks ago... I then contacted Ascent and they couldn't source it here. I had a look in Tech Pac list and it's not there either...

Perhaps if more people contact Ascent and ask them, they could try and get a batch? I got the review unit directly from the manufacturer in the US, but you should be able to buy over the internet too. Look for our link in the frontpage to Blueunplugged...
