Hi,
I have a XH1173 router that connects to laptop via LAN cable.
The issue i have is the LAN connection seems to time out / reset its connection to the router at regular intervals - which can be a nuisance - esp if downloading.

Im not sure where to check the settings for the length of time the lan keeps its connection with the router , im not even sure if its a lan setting or a router setting and I dont know why the LAN connection between router and laptop resets.

Where would I go to check on settings to resolve this issue or to adjust the length of time the lan connects to the router.

Don't know the model personally but doesn't sound right. Might just be a faulty unit. Did check the manual?

Observation points to the laptop lan resetting after a period of time, im unsure where to look to change this, the router works good, its a lan setting, will have a closer look at what might be controlling the session time length, any pointers appreciated thanks :)
