Marc, driver updates are supplied by the manufacturer. You have to look in their website for updated software. The driver from one brand will not necessarily work with other brind, since there is the possibilitiy of customisation of software, hardware etc.

Some people succeeded in using 3rd party software with their hardware, but we don't condone this because of copyrights issues.

It all depends if you really need the 1.4 update. This version adds support for HID (mouse, keyboard) and Windows Server 2003.

If you have no need for these kind of connections, then 1.3 is enough for everything else.

Hi:

I have a Motorola HS820 Bluetooth headset. I discovered that it does not have a driver that allows it to function in conjunction with my PC. Does anyone know of a Widcomm 1.3.2.7 driver that is compatible with the device and would allow it two-way communication with my PC?

Thanks,

fbaylin you have to look for this on your device's (the USB on your computer, not the headset) manufacturer's website.
