I am working with a Toshiba Satellite laptop 2455-S305 that has the built in bluetooth wireless. I have a HP 8450 printer that has a usb port for the BT300 printer adapter. I have d/l and reinstalled the drivers for the laptop and still the connection doesnt work.
Is it possible that the adapter is not hooked up on the laptop? Does it need to be turned on internally or on the bios on the system? I have turned the switch on and off and not sure whether a light or LED is suppose to come on.
If any one has any solutions or suggestions it would be greatly appreciated...
  Thanks

Are you sure this laptop comes with Bluetooth built-in? I bought a Toshiba M200 and it was "Bluetooth Ready", meaning all the software is installed, but the hardware is not actually there.

Check the Device Manager list to make sure there's a Bluetooth hardware on this computer.
