My problem is that Bluetooth Activesync for my PDA (IPAQ2210) has stopped working since I installed Mobile Phone (Nokia 6600) bluetooth syncing which does work. Activesync makes a connecyion and immediately disconnects. I am sure that the Bluetooth Serial Port is the problem, but I can't figure out how to sort it. Does anyone have this setup working, if so what are your serial port settings (same or different for both?).

Thanks in advance,

Keith.

You'll probably find that ActiveSync and the mRouter software for your mobile phone are using the same COM port.

You'll have to add a new COM port to your configuration, using the Local Services tab on your Bluetooth Advanced Settings.

Mauricio,

I worked that one out over night and set up a 2nd Serial Port today, but I soon ran into problems of vanishing COM ports. As I tried to match COM ports (unsuccessfully), the availability of COM port diminshed until I gave up. I will have a weeks rest before I go back to this. However, in my search for solutions I came across a product called BlueSoleil which looks more user friendly, I got it working with my TDK adapter and almost got it working both with my PDA and Mobile Phone, but not quite. Again, if I persever I think that I can get it working. But thanks for replying.

Keith.

The problem with Bluesoleil is that the only version available is a demo limited to 2MB transferred in total.

I'd try and stick with the widcomm software. Are you using the lastet 1.3 version available on their website?
