Hi GZers,
Has anyone heard of any products that could provide a mobile WiFi Hotspot that uses a 3G mobile connection for data. It also really needs to be able to support say 16 users/connections (They will be low traffic volumes), and it really needs a simple firewall that can be set to block access to all but a nominated list of sites.

I am looking for this to set up a portable classroom/training venue.

I found a few products that take a 3G card or USB modem, but none of them had the ability to whitelist what sites can be accessed.

Any clues?

Im interested in something similar to deploy at a friends shop but with the 3g as a backup to the adsl connection, and the site blocking only kicking in when the 3g is in use since thats what has the low cap. When the ADSL is up it should use that.

Bonus points if it could client mode at the same time off the cafe nearby's free wifi but I doubt that would be possible easily.

You could get a Cisco SRP router (DSL/3G and cable/3G models available), and use a OpenDNS configuration to block unwanted sites being resolved combined with its firewall...
