I've heard ths is a solid N wireless modem, I also read I think, that it does not have N Only mode, does this matter?

What I want is a solid ADSL2+ modem with a sold N wireless to compliment my N laptop and N USB DLink adaptor that I use on a WDTV Live

I have a TG585 v7, works fine, but the v8 is or seems poor on wifi when streaming, heavy activity, or with multi devices.

All opinions gratefully appreciated on the TPLink above

Cheers

It will definitely bet better than the TG585, the TP Link is 2T2R so you should get good N speeds.

I have one of these and they are really solid and reliable. What do you mean by N only mode? Do you mean it can be set only to broadcast in N not b and g? If so then it can indeed be set only to N. Have had mine for few months and it hasn't missed a beat. Can't beat it for the price either.
