My problem is with the tdk mobile software that comes on the disc that comes with the adapter. it recognizes my phone the first time and reads the contacts fine. but, i can't do it a second time.
the program says that it it is online and that there is a connection established. the picture box comes up with little arrows going from the phone to pc and says reading sim contacts. it however, doesn't - it just stays that way for over 10 minutes. i have to ctrl-alt-del to stop the program. the only way i have found to get the tdk mobile software to work again is to uninstall and reinstall (what a pain!)
any help anyone?
btw: tdk "go blue" dongle, win xp pro, t610 firmware r1
thanks,
akilan

Are you running any firewall? Have a look on this thread.

Bluetooth needs to communicate with other components, and some firewalls block this communication completely.

Other than that, since the connection happens, I'd suggest you to try this software and mobile in another computer. It can be something specific to this computer you're using...

I got a reply from one of the TDK guys.
Apparently this was a known problem with the software version that shipped with the adapter.
I downloaded the software from www.tdksystems.com and it works fine!
