Iam looking at upgrading my D-Link DSL-G604T firmware version, will it let me load the old configuration after the update? The old version is V3.00B01T01.TX.20060516

It depends, often it's good to reset to default after a firmware update.

Take screenshots of the current settings if you're worried so you can re do your setup easily enough.

You should be able to export the configuration data to a file on your computer, then re-import it afterwards.

Screenshots would not hurt though.
