I installed my bluetooth device in my login. The "My Bluetooth Places" shows up in mine and my wives login. Everything works fine in hers, I can see both phone, transfer stuff, etc. If I double click the "My Bluetooth Places" in my login, I get the wizard and it never list any services, but it will see the phones. I don't mind going into my wifes login for the phone stuff, but it can't see my Outlook info so I can sync. Anyone know why the bluetooth stuff works in one login and not another?

Stuf I tried:
I checked and compared our "Startup" apps.
I don't know of different login "Run" apps in the registry, but I check the normal one.
I re-installed the bluetooth device several times.

I tried one more thing that I read on another thread. Make a new admin login, de-install the bluetooth device and drivers and then re-install. No go, everything is the same. This is killing me, how is my login different? Where in the registry is the setting that seperate users for devices/dlls/exe/etc.?

Does your login have administrator rights on this machine? This is the only thing. Otherwise it can be a problem with the profile information. If this is the case, if you create another login are you able to use Bluetooth (not reinstall, but simply use it)?

Yes, I have admin and yes all other login can use bluetooth.

I am in the process of making a new login, copying over all relavent files and using that login from now on. I just have to make sure Outlook and all my other programs are happy with my switch.
