I recentley allowed my IPAQ's battery to drain so had to setup all my network again.

I have 2 PC's OLD (192.168.0.1) and NEW (192.168.0.123), OLD connects to the net and NEW connects to the net thru ICS on OLD.
I have a Belkin USB adapter on NEW which is using the widcomm drivers version 1.2.1.20
I can't get them to pair, I've unnstalled then reinstalled both Activsync and he bluetooth drivers, now i can't get them to pair, I get and error message saying...

Error in pairing with device IPAQ
Reason: Authentication failed, try pairing again

I can't get any further...anyone have ideas??

Okay I got them both paired and syncing via the USB Cradle, I have bridged the Network connection and can now get on the internet when the 2210 is in the Cradle.

I can't get it to work via bluetooth tho...

I do......on the 2210

Bluetooth Manager
New
Connect!
ActivSync via Bluetooth -----> Next
Next ---> Next
Device --> New --> Finish

It finds it but then tries to connect

the message Connect to
' BluetoothActivSync
Status: Connecting to host

and it stays like that.....

I can view files on NEW via bluetooth but not vice versa

btw Both machines are using XP
IPAQ Serial COM port - 4
Bluetooth Serial Port - 4
ActivSync is on COM port - 4

Is the COM4 the port defined on you computer in the Local Services tab? If yes and the port is used in the ActiveSync configuration, it seems correct. Have a read in this thread and see if it applies to your case.
