I run my broadband through a combined router modem, it is a Cisco Linksys one and its about 9 months old. Its doing a good enough job and we were also using Avira Free Antivirus software. No problems at all.

A few days ago Avira gave me a free copy of their Avira Internet Security 2012. Since installing the new software the program I use for Linksys (Network Magic) no longer works properly. It says the net is disconnected but it does work as normal, although I think it is ever so slightly slower than before. I am pretty sure it is a firewall issue but I can't figure out Avira.

Is anyone able to help please?
