Hi, could I use this router with a MacbookPro. Want to get the slingshot deal but need router, will this one do the trick?  They said it was ADSL2+ capable.

Thanks!

There is another available too, a Thomson Telecom TG585v7 ADSL2+ Wireless modem. Which one is better? Are either of them any good?

We had the d-link 604t for a few years - it was alright, we got rid of it in the end as it began needing to be turned off and on again after it lost connection about every other day.

I just bought the Thomson one. Hope the slingshot deal holds out for a few more days! Am happy I made the decision to buy my own router so now I have flexibility to choose between ISP's.

How much did you pay for the Thomson and where did you buy it from?

$50 off trade me. The slingshot deal requires you to have a connected landline though. So now am looking for a naked DSL deal. Searched geekzone for any info on the best one but most of the posts are from years ago.
