Hello everyone!
I'm using Widcomm 4.0.1.2601 and activesync 4.2 and I'm not able to set the com port for activesync.
I've this problem: in local services or in client applications when trying to add a com port or add a serial service or simply click propriety, the system add a new com port and no other change!
Where I'm wrong?

That's the way it should be - you add a new com port to your system, through the Bluetooth configuration. Then you change the ActiveSync configuration to connected on that new COM port.

Check our Bluetooth Guides for instructions.

after added a port, I see it in control panel --> system --> hardware --> devices --> ports, but setting it in activesync the wizard don't recognize a pocket pc in this port.
Is very strange that adding a port to the activesync service in bluetooth configuration, this port is added in the windows xp com ports but not in the com column at activesync service in bluetooth configuration!

Please read the Bluetooth Guides. The Pocket PC will not be visible on your desktop. You have to configure ActiveSync on your PC to listen on the new port, and then create a partnership from your Pocket PC.

Again, please read the Bluetooth Guides.
