I have a nat type 3 connection, and always have, so I have tried before to fix this and I have never succeded, today I tried again and I did this:
I made an static ip address for my router (I never did this before so maybe that´s why it never worked)
Then I made the ports for the ps3, I checked and they are correct, I made a private ip for these ports
Before connecting my ps3 I tested the ports and they were and still are timed out (I believe this means that nothing is using them in that moment, i dont know I totally dont know Sh*t about this stuff)
This was the first time that the ports actually did something, before, they were off
I went to my room and connected my ps3 to the private IP that I set for the ports
I still get NAT type 3, I am really really really frustrated I really need help

I have a Belkin router

The ports for PSN are:

TCP 80
TCP 443
TCP 5223
UDP 3478
UDP 3479
UDP 3658

I dont know anything about computers and that stuff so any information you need please dont start saying i am a noob, just ask, i dont know what you need for this

What model is the Belkin?

It's far simpler to remove all those manual port forwards and just enable upnp/nat-pmp in the router.
