I am trying to set up internet on my Nokia N73 (ok, i know it has no Wifi capabilities - hey, it's a 6 year old model!) using Gnubox and m-Router (my system Windows XP SP2 64-bit, laptop HP Pavilion dv9649, Bluetooth USB dongle ISSC chip, internet via ADSL modem router HG655b).

It looks that Widcomm Bluetooth drivers v5.0.1.802 did install alright, then I went on installing m-Router v3.1 which it did ...only I can't get it working. Yes, it does read Widcomm, Symbian emulator, it does view "additional ports", BUT won't connect!

I am wondering if this is because:
1. COM port conflict
2. incompatibility m-Router program on 64-bit XP system
3. incorrect configuration Bt acces point/Gnubox on N73
4. simply my lack of experience
5. ?

I've read somewhere that old versions of Nokia PC suite were based on m-router connectivity support (unlike latest versions using SyncML over OBEX mechanism). If so, would it be easier to just search for one of those old versions and get the job done? (see item 4 above, lol)

Upon installing Nokia Suite 3.2 and reading through its comprehensive Help, now I know why my connection PC-N73 via Bluetooth won't work. Windows XP 64-bit platform only supports the following Bluethooth drivers:
- Microsoft Windows Bluetooth stack
- Toshiba Bluetooth stack, driver version 5.10.12 and 6.10.10
- IVT BlueSoleil Bluetooth stack, driver version 5.0.5 and 6.2.227.11
It took me two days to find out that Widcomm drivers are not truly supported under XP 64-bit ..

Shame... But thanks for the update, so it's documented now.
