Hello folks... Just got a new Cisco router here and put my existing SRP521W inside the LAN now. VoIP works fine, but I can't find a way to enable the management interface to work on the WAN port.

Is there such an option?

Go to Administration and enable Remote Management

There is no such option. The admin interface allows two IP addresses for remote management. I tried and it seems it won't accept any LAN address (192.168.2.x). Anyway, I can still connect over WiFi and manage from there. It's not accessible from the other LAN segment.

Tried the default 80 and 8080. Only accessible from LAN side (which I can do via WiFi too).

I'd like to turn WiFi off though, and the only thing missing would be the ability to check SIP status really (or plug a cable to check if needed).

With the SRP inside the LAN, are you no longer using it for routing duties, just VoIP?

Correct. This is not a definitive situation though, just testing for now.

Ahh, that explains it.

Is it possible to reconfigure the LAN temporarily to go through both routers, with the SRP set up as a bridge, so you are then on the inside of it, rather than the outside?

Could do, sure. The problem is that the SRP is 100 Mbps, the E3200 is 1 Gbps so I wanted to take that bottleneck out of the way of the LAN...

I've seen the odd one of these loose this setting once VFX provisioned. Try factory reset, enable WAN, make sure you change the "cisco" user password, then provision for VFX.

Nope, nothing from the WAN side or option to turn it on.

Interesting it seems it's no longer routing from the LAN 192.168.3.x to WAN 192.168.2.x and forward.

That's ok, providing SIP is working, I can still see status from a WiFi connection - just an ATA for now.

Hmm, it should be working for remote access on the WAN port , it was previously , if you get a change if you put it back as your main router I can take a look
