Hi guys,

I've recently purchased a Belkin USB adaptor F8T003, I'm trying to swap pictures etc. with my Motorola V525 which has bluetooth, my connection has been established but when I try and send a JPG photo from the computer, the FTP connection fails. What am I doing wrong?? The user manual is cack and has absolutely nothing in it.

Thanks in advance!

It dependes on how the Motorola supports the OBEX File Exchange protocol. Have you tried simply drag and drop the file into the phone's icon in My Bluetooth places? You start by double-clicking the icon so the computer can find all services available, and from them on you should be able to drag and drop images to this icon and have them sent to the phone...

Yeh but it says connection failed, it's a brand new phone.

Have you paired the phone with this computer, and most important, does the phone support OBEX File Transfer?

The phone should support - it's listed here.

Thanks for having Geekzone in the background :)

But seriously, the specs say it supports. Of course what is in the specs not always work. I can think of an old firmware in the phone?

Does anyone ever read these threads, or have I put it in an archive?

Nope, it's not an archive, and most people that posted before on a thread receive e-mail notifications. It's just that probably there's no answer available for some of these question :(
