As part of a promotion for a new phone one bundle I have an option for includes the Samsung Jet 60 Stick Vac.

We have a dyson v6 which is a good number of years old now.

Would anyone know if it's going to be an upgrade or not to go to the Samsung Jet 60, or have one and can provide feedback?

The dyson does a good job, but is heavy, battery life is a small issue sometimes, mostly we are interested in cleaning ability.

I have the Samsung Jet 90 (it's 200 air watts vs 150). If they are anything alike then yes, will be very similar to the Dysan equivalent.

I'm amazed at how well it sucks dirt from our carpets, better than my electric Miele C3 from what I've seen. I've got the charger stand so it's always fully charged and ready to go. Was a good buy.

Bin emptying is much more manual on the Samsung versus Dyson. Watch a video or try in-store.

Glad we stuck with Dyson rather than the Samsung which is great on paper but less practical.

I think it's going to depend on your preference, but the Dyson V6 is quite old now.

I got a Jet 90 2-3 years ago with just about all the accessories (Clean Station for dustless emptying, wet mop attachment, mini motorised tool etc etc) and it cost me less than the newest Dyson at the time due to a good discount.

I did compare the two in store and due to my height would actually have preferred the Dyson - although the Jet 90 has an extendable pole, it's just not quite long enough for me even on max.

However I'd still rather have all the tools and accessories than have had got the Dyson. I quite like the fact I can sit the vacuum cylinder in the Clean Station and not get dust clouds like I have had when emptying "bagless" vacuum cleaners. Plus the bags the Clean Station uses last me about 2-3 months as everything seems to effectively get compacted in there via the suction mechanism.

We've only had great experiences with Dyson's after-sales customer service, even out of warranty.

With regards to Samsung's customer service, we've only had horrid experiences.
