We've had a few home improvements (louvres along with LED light strip and an RF power point) installed recently and we've got a tray of cheap RF remotes that I'd like to eliminate. Controlling from an App or Web portal (HomeAssistant?) would be ideal.

These are all RF devices though I'm not sure what frequency(s) they're using.

HomeAssistant is probably the way I'm going to go but I'm looking for recommendations of what RF Hub (or whatever you call it) would control these devices and integrate with HA.

How do these RF hubs work? Do they 'learn' the RF codes from the existing remote or do they rely on already programmed devices? The latter could be an issue due to the properitry nature of the Louvre controller.

Which brand louvre controller do you have?  I have Somfy brand with a RF remote, and setup Pi-Somfy on a Rasp Pi with Home Assistant.  It works really well, with the only issue that there is no feedback to HA to know if the user has opened/closed the louvres using the normal RF remote.

I've got an RF central heating system. I've tried a couple with zero success 😩. So keen to hear how you get on, but no practical advice beyond "good luck".

Has anyone used one of these?

I’m going to order one. It looks good with its integration to Home Assistant and the ability to send and receive RF instructions on common frequencies. It should be able to learn the protocol used by the Louvres and replay them.
