Hi All,

I hope this is the right forum.

We have moved house and it comes with a Mitsubishi MSZ-GE35VAD heatpump.

In our old house we had a Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Heatpump with the wifi module internally.

Currently I am using an RC3 for wifi / app control.

The RC3 has a drawback, if my wife turns on the heat pump, I cant see that it is on using my devices, or what the settings are.

Does the Sensibo device show the same information across all apps? i.e. if it is on, heating 22 deg and the like.

I could get the Mitsubishi MAC-568IF-E but reading the instructions this is external to the heat pump and I don't want that.

Thanks

John

As an alternative, I think it does on the AmbiClimate. Got mine for $60 + shipping from LX2001 (code AMBI)

Not affiliated at all. Just like the product.

Yes my wife and I have the Sensibo app on our phones and it shows the correct status on both.

Haven't been using a Sensibo for long and haven't positioned it permanently, but I noted sometimes it would seemingly be in sync with the remote and other times not. I guess it depends if they are all in line of sight with each other?

Sensibo also updates it's status if you use the IR remote too (it has an IR receiver, so bear that in mind when mounting).

Have had the Sensibo for a few years now. Love it.
Seems to be in sync with multiple devices.
If you user the manual remote to turn on it will generally ask you in the app "Is the device already on?" when you go into the app.

But great for Schedules etc. Have mine turn on an hour before i get up in the morning and have it sync'd with Google Home for other automations etc

I have 3 sensibo Airs in the house - work well (Apple dominant household) - we tend to use HomeKit to control the devices but the Sensibo app has more granular control. HomeKit allows you to set warm/cool/off etc and a temperature (as well as report sensor temp in the room) - the Sensibo app allows louvres/swing etc as well.

The Sensibo controller has its own thermosat as well so even if it doesn't sync up to the remote 100% of the time you can still see the room temp on the app. More than once I have gone to turn the heatpump on while on the way home and seen that the room temp is perfectly fine and the heatpump isn't actually needed yet. The app also has a climate control option that when set will turn the heatpump on if the room temp goes below a set temperature, you can set it for heating and/or cooling depending on temperature.
