Hi,

I've been reading all the information with regards to Limitless LED bulbs and I can honestly say this thread has been extremely useful and I will be purchasing a starter pack and some extra white bulbs within the next couple of weeks.

I do have a question though, I live in the UK. At the moment on average, what is the estimated time from purchase on the website to delivery at the door? Is it still just over a month as it was in the early part of the thread.

I was going to ask my wife to get some for my birthday in early May (Sad I know)

Just thought I would add to this disucssion that I purchased three RGB lights based on this conversation and really impressed. Ordered Monday afternoon, arrived today (wed). I had a couple of issues which were no fault of the bulbs and Hamish was quick to reply (within 30 minutes) and offer ideas that helped with the resolution of my issues.

Highly recommended and I expect I will be getting some more.

curious :) his socket was faulty, the fitting screw base end spring lost all its spring. it worked fine in his neighbors fitting. he fixed up the springiness of his fitting, and then it worked.

NZ/AU/UK is E27 Edison screw and B22 bayonet

US/CANADA is E26 Edison screw

Just ordered a white bulb - I'm going to try and control it using an arduino alarm clock that I'm building, it looks like this is exactly what I've been looking for

Hamish (or anyone) - is it possible to poll a WIFI bridge to determine if a light (or group) is turned on or off?

I am trying to integrate my LimitlessLED into openHAB and whilst I can easily send on/off commands I can't read the status of the light back to the software - in case someone comes along and manually turns the light on/off.

Any ideas how I could do this?

I need more zones of control without adding bulky power sapping wifi gateways for each zone before I will be investing in more of the lamps. The LED strip looks awesome but I would probably want another 10 zones of it just in the lounge room.

The individually addressable pixel ones are looking more appealing other than their high cost, but they are still less than the first LED strip I got was, so not excessive. Just the matter of getting the high speed signals from something to the strip in situ thru the building and the DC and switching it etc, which makes the RF stuff seem easy in comparison.
