Jon from Australia had a great tip about mounting the Remotes to the wall...

My bathroom light was in the bathroom behind the hinge side of the door, ie a PITA to get to, but now I have a remote mounted outside the door.

I got some of these 3M Command Hanging Strips:

http://goo.gl/NRqHm

They work great to mount a remote on the wall.

The medium strips almost exactly fit the battery cover.  :)

I couldn't find any B22 on there, but I did find these B22  1,794 Lumens! 27W, wow they look fairly ugly, but very functional. As LED gets better and better technology I bet we are going to surpass 2000 Lumens in a single normal looking bulb.

And I wonder if this bulb works with the OEM remote and wireless bridge.. Maybe not....

Edit: appears not.. It's IR only

oh, yeah those infrared wireless ones are terrible...  just stick to radio controlled / wifi controlled ones.

There exists a fitting holder, specially tailored for the remotes !
We have 5 in stock, but not listed on our webpage... Now I see the need maybe we should add them...

But first i need a decent product picture  :D

App just put a notification up and says things about service destroyed.
Makes the wifi indicator light up tho. Bit hopeless of an app really.

i wonder how the candle android app works since theres no way to directly set the brightness level through the API. you can only increase/decrease the level. So if one controller turns it all the way down (say at 10%) and the candle app thinks its 90%, what happens when you select 95%? (does it just go to 15% brigthness???)

this is one of my major issues with the bulbs. the fact that its just one way communication and you can't query the status/brightness level. hopefully they will improve them in the next model. still great for the price. just not perfect.

Hey,this thread very useful it made me make my mind to buy this product instead of wasting almost 200 quids on hue! Which I see its overpriced. Anyway guys I'm in the uk.
I'm planning to order but I can receive the lights just in two weeks as after it I will have 3 months vacation out of the uk so ?
If i order today will I get them by/before 22nd of this month ?
