Fossie: So anyway, mine has over 20+ stuck pixels. I have tried multiple 'fixing' videos to no success. Guess where ill be going tomorrow?

Going to see Steve Jobs?

I got 10% off on my iPod Touch when I purchased it on Apple Online Store, by just quoting Harvey Norman's offer! :D And I've had mine for almost 3 weeks now.

How do you quote a competitors offer on the apple online store? Did you call them?

OK I'm calling BS on this one. There is nowhere on the Apple Online Store to query pricing, so I called 0800 MY-APPLE and made my enquiry, the CSR told me that they could ship an iPod Touch to me within 10 working days but Apple policy rules out price-matching.

Yeah, I did make my purchase online, and called afterwards to have them match Harvey Norman's price. I'm not sure why they did it for me, but they did. I even got engraving on mine.

I think someone on the MacRumors forum also had Apple match price for them... it's up to you whether you want to believe it or not. You gotta be persistent and annoying when asking for discounts Wink

Hahaha awesome stuff bonkie!! So you got a credit note - does that mean you have to spend the credit at the store or did they refund it to your card?

Thanks

Steve

Well, those nice folks at Apple didn't disappoint. Contacted them this morning and they agreed to the 10% discount. Nice work, Bonkiebonks!
